1A.  General Questions

1.  What is the "Readme"? This page describes the various    issues related to using this CD and may have the answer to your question.

2.  What is the "Index"? This is the starting "home" page.  From this location you can navigate to everything on the CD.  All of the pages have a small house icon located on the top of the left navigation bar.   Clicking on this house icon will take you back to the "home" page.

3.  How do I start the Training class? Either click on the highlighted "Training class" in this question or from the start page, i.e., home or index, click on the text Training Class listed on the blue Navigation Bar on the left.  This will take you to the 8 week class layout, with a corresponding option for audio or video for each class.

4.   What’s the difference between the "Guided Tour" class and the "Page-by-page" class? These are two different methods for taking the class with Pastor Larry Enterline. The first, Guided Tour, allows you to start a particular week’s class and watch the video (or audio) while the pages automatically "flip" to the corresponding section or page in the Training Manual.  The second method, Page-by-page, is a method of going through the Training Manual one section at a time. Each link (underlined blue text) refers to audio and video which covers just that particular page or section.

5.  Can I print the manual for the Training Class? Yes. Either click on the highlighted "print the manual" in this question or go to the start page, click on the Training Class link, then click on the Print Manual link.   Adobe Acrobat will bring up the first page. Simply click on the printer icon at the top of the page (or file/print..) and choose which pages you wish to print. (I.e., The print "All" option means ALL 53 pages will begin to be printed. Got paper?)

6.  How do I get to the curriculum? Again, click on the highlighted text in the body of this question or go to the start page and click on Curriculum.

7.   Can I print the curriculum? Yes.  Click on the highlighted text in this question to bring up the Curriculum and then click on the particular study you want to print. When Adobe Acrobat pulls up the right pages, click the printer icon printer.gif (933 bytes) on the top left and select the number of pages you want to print.

8.  What is the purpose of the Real Video / Audio buttons? These buttons start the class with Pastor Larry Enterline in either audio or video depending on your selection. As he references a different page, those new pages will be displayed automatically on-screen for you. It is recommended that you print out the manual before taking the class, so you can take notes.

9.  Do I have to have an Internet connection to use this CD? No.  This CD is basically a copy of the Children's Ministry Website with modifications to support video and other extras. But you can still go to the Website and view or print any part of the Training Manual or Curriculum and listen to the classes in Real Audio and Real Video.

10.   What’s the difference between the "Manual" and "Curriculum"? The manual is the complete package of pages used for the Training Class. The Curriculum is the complete package of children's studies for use in the classrooms. It contains about 2,000 pages of study tools and notes. Obviously, you will only want to print only the pages you need, instead of all of them.

11.   After selecting more than a few courses in the curriculum a message says "The maximum number of files are already open. No other files can be opened or printed until some are closed".  What do I do? Don't panic, this is simply Adobe Acrobat's way of handling a large number of files open at the same time. Click "OK" on the message, then Maximize the Acrobat Reader at the bottom of the screen (on the toolbar). Then close the Acrobat program and then you should be able to start referencing the Curriculum again.

12.  I have a white bar across my screen on the home start   page. Is anything wrong? No.   This is caused by system differences.  Within the narrow white bar should be scrolling text that welcomes you.  If no scrolling text is displayed, you either have Java disabled in your Internet Options or you're running this CD on the Macintosh.

13.   My question isn’t on this page. What do I do? If you have an internet connection, mail your question to us by clicking here.
